quote

Oct. 29th, 2009 | 10:15 pm

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

Calvin Coolidge

30th president of US (1872 - 1933)

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.

"aint a book to read, its a book to refer"

i think i read more books in these few months compared to the 21years of living i had

books need to be engaging seriously, some are just too dry, like textbooks which are good for referring

People really dont know what they really want. If you think about it, and i asked you about your idea of a great plate of char kway teow, everyone will come back with a different opinion. There is no "perfect" char kway teow, there are "perfect" char kway teows.

Haha, well my favourite is at Hong Lim's.

where are we!

Mar. 25th, 2009 | 10:51 pm
music: Death Cab For Cutie - Sound Of Settling

Seriously, it might be extremely geeky. But things are really becoming super convenient. Check out the video below, its about 27mins, haha  but i assure you, you wont be bored. Pogue is an insane man passionate about his job and cellphones.

Oh yes, he hates the answering machine. The one you have to leave a voice mail for the person who didnt pick your call? Put it this way, if a milllion people have to leave a message today, and that 20 seconds, costs you 20 cents. YOU DO THE MATH.

"You have 13 new messages, if you want to listen to them press 1. OMG, Pogue went, "DAMN IT I WOULDNT HAVE CALLED"", hate it especially when its reciting the number of the person. ITS REALLY SLOW WHEN THE MACHINE READS OUT THE NUMBERS.

If the internet is going to own the earth, phone companies better start thinking of new ways of connecting people
The iPhone is capable of making internet calls anywhere as long there's a hotspot. Skype will be the next Microsoft, WHO KNOWS.

Hah, with some good consumer research together with creative writers, you get really smart good radio ads. They should air these in singapore radio stations!

the stress one is the best one out of the lot. the hair....  i cant really feel the suffering connection hitting the spot.

i can imagine a tv commercial with this. typical counseling interview with couples. camera switching face to face as they speak. Ending the commerical with a happy couple, hugging kissing with the therapist holding the Panadol Menstrual Box.
